1st day for blazers and ties—October 4.

Quarter ends—October 6.

Parents of 5th grade art students are invited to their end-of-quarter exhibit reception on Friday, October 6 at 9:40 A.M.

Please read the attached letter concerning our UMS-Wright family's desire to help communities affected by the recent hurricanes.

Attention 8th grade parents:  All forms and money ($125) due for the 8th grade trip to Camp Grace on October 6.  If you have any questions, please contact Dana Stewart.

Attention 7th and 8th grade parents:  Permission forms for the Floral Parade were sent out on October 2.  Remember that there is a limited number of spots, so get your money and permission form returned to the Middle School Office as soon as possible.  If a copy didn't make it home, one is attached here.

Homecoming:  5th and 6th grade students will have a Homecoming Sock Hop on Thursday, October 19 5:00-6:30 P.M. in the PAC Gym.  Dress code is casual (appropriate t-shirts and shorts and crazy socks).

7th and 8th grade students will have a Homecoming Dance on Thursday, October 19 7:30-9:30 P.M. in the PAC Gym.  Dress for boys:  dress pants and collared shirt (either button down or polo).  No shorts or jeans.  Dress for girls:  dresses or shirts and blouses.  No low cut, no strapless, no spaghetti straps, no backless, no cut outs, and make sure it’s an appropriate length.  If you have questions, please ask Mrs. Stewart.
